India started the second innings of Day 2 with opener batsman Prithvi Shaw & Mayank Agarwal on the field. However Shaw again failed to show up & easily got dismissed for 4 runs on Mitchell Starc’s delivery. Bumrah came to bat on the crease & second day game comes to an ends. At the end of second day’s game, Mayank Agarwal was batting on 5 while Bumrah remained unbeaten without scoring a single run. India took a 62 runs lead in the end of the second day game.
Earlier India were all out for 244 runs in the first innings of the pink ball test match against Australia in Adelaide. On the second day of the opening test match, India resumed the innings at 233 for 6 wickets down. In quick-fire India lost seven wickets for 56 runs which started with unfortunate departure of Virat Kohli for run-out engineered by a poor judgment by Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. Pat Cummins then removed Ravichandran Ashwin on the third ball of the 2nd day of the opening test match, Wriddhiman Saha departed in same way in the next over after hitting a poor shot to Starc’s Delivery. Starc also removed Umesh Yadav to finish with figures of 4-53 form 21 overs. Cummins then came & easily dismissed Mohammed Shami for a golden duck to end India’s innings. The first day of the day & night match was full of ups & downs for India.
