After getting banned from Headingley, ‘Jarvo 69’ has invaded the pitch once again on the second day of the ongoing IND vs ENG 4th Test 2021, at the Kennington Oval.
The incident occurred during the 34th over of England’s innings which was being bowled by Umesh Yadav. Jarvo came running towards the crease and ended up barging into non-striker Jonny Bairstow. Thus the match was halted for five minutes till the security personnel took him off the field.

Jarvo had first invaded the pitch during India vs England Lord’s Test. He walked on the field to join the Indian team after lunch at the lord’s Ground. However, he was quickly removed from the field by the security personnel. His ‘pitch invasion’ didn’t stop here as he again invaded the pitch on the third day of the third test cricket match. The incident happened after India’s opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed. ‘Jarvo 69’ walked in padded up as a batsman & tried to take a strike before the security personnel rushed in & took him off the field. Owing to Jarvo’s breach, English County Yorkshire confirmed that pitch invader ‘Jarvo 69’ has been banned for life from entering the stadium.
Coming back to the ongoing IND vs ENG 4th Test 2021, the game is currently being balanced with the Indian bowlers stepping up to remove England’s top order before stumps on day one. For India, captain Virat Kohli & Shardul Thakur steadied India’s innings by scoring quick runs to take India close to the 200 run mark.
With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah & Umesh Yadav were in their best form with the ball by reducing India to 52/3. On Day 2 also team India was looking on top of hosts after scalping two quick wickets in the opening session.
Umesh Yadav starred with the ball for India in the first hour of day two as he removed Craig Overton & Dawid Mallan. India was heading strong but the partnership between Ollie Pope & Jonny Bairstow steadied Engalnd’s innings. Ollie Pope & Bairstow together stitched a 77 run partnership to bring hosts back into the first session on day two.
