Young pacer Prasidh Krishna has impressed everyone with his pace & bounce but the pacer feels that he needs to work hard & try to be more economical with the new ball.
In both the ODIs, Prasidh scalped wickets in his second spell with the semi-new ball while England’s batsmen smashed his deliveries with sixes fours in his opening overs.
“Personally, I want to start better. I would like to improve on how I have been starting the game with a new ball. All the runs that I have conceded were scored off bad deliveries. So I want to work on these aspects”, Prasidh said after India lost the second ODI by six wickets.
Indian bowlers had a bad day yesterday as their every delivery was smashed to score maximums & boundaries by England’s batsmen. The onslaught by Jonny Bairstow & Ben Stokes was not less than a nightmare for the Indian bowlers.
“We could have bowled well, but we can’t deny the way they played as well. It was a complete carnage from Ben Stokes & Jonny Bairstow, we got hit quite badly”, said the young pace sensation in the post-match presentation.
“It was a very good wicket to bat on and the total says it all. We scored 330 plus & they chased the mammoth target of 336 just in the 44th over. It says it completely. It was a flat wicket, challenging wicket for the bowlers where the margin of error was very less”, Prasidh added.
“Our bowling could have been better, personally for me. It has been a repetitive question which I am answering for the third time. Yes we did mistakes, we could have done better but they batted well too, this can’t be ignored”, Prasidh Krishna signed off.
