India vs. Australia, 4th test, Day 5, Live Score Updates: Rishabh Pant reaches his fifty, a big hope for the hosts!


Rishabh Pant is emerging as star batsman for India as he completed his half-century off 100 balls by surviving the lethal bowling attack of hosts. Pant is not leaving any opportunity to hit boundaries & is playing as a gem of India’s innings. India 265/4 in 86 overs.

Earlier on Day 4, Rain has resulted in an early stoppage of game for the second time, leaving the 4th & final test match between Australia & India to be decided by what happens on Day 5 which is the final Day of the test match at Gabba in Brisbane. For the visitors Siraj was the pick of the bowlers who registered his maiden five wicket haul whereas Shardul Thakur also scalped four wickets to further strengthen India’s bowling attack. Australia’s bowling side will be aiming to put a strong pressure on the Indian batsmen by displaying top bowling performance on Day 5. For India a draw is enough to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, with the series already tied at 1-1 but first they will be aiming to secure back to back series win in the Australia tour.
