And the thrill begins!! England won the toss & choose to bowl first against India in the 2nd ODI at MCA Stadium in Pune.
Virat Kohli led India will look forward to win the 2nd ODI against England & seal the entire ODI series. Indian Captain Virat Kohli has made a couple of changes to the team’ Playing XI as India is aiming to clinch the series by winning today’s match. Rishabh Pant comes in as a replacement for injured Shreyas Iyer which clearly means there is still no place for Surakumar Yadav in the Playing XI. Meanwhile, England will be led by Jos Buttler in the absence of Eoin Morgan. Eoin Morgan has been ruled out of the remaining 2 ODIs after suffering an injury. Dawid Malan, Reese Topley and Livingstone are included in England’s Playing XI.
Earlier Pitch reports by Deep Dasgupta suggests that the pitch will suit the batsmen. The surface looks flatter than the last one & the team batting first can score more runs just like the first ODI in which India was batting first & they crossed the 300 runs mark. The scenario same as the first ODI can be expected in the 2nd ODI as well.
