Earlier on Day 3, England were 53/3 at the Stumps after Ravichandran Ashwin’s Century helped India to set a huge target of 482 runs for England to achieve. Ashwin’s 106 runs brilliant knock took India closer to victory in the 2nd test against England who have to chase a huge target of 482 runs to claim victory. England who is leading the four match test series with 1-0 were struggling at 53 runs with 3 wickets already down at stumps. Axar Patel took two wickets while Ashwin took the crucial wicket of Rory Burns to raise his wickets count to 6 in 2nd test against England. Ashwin scored his 5th Tets century on Day 3 against England before India were bowled out for 286 runs in their final batting session. For visitors, Spinners Moeen Ali and Jack Leach claimed four wickets each. Ashwin scored his 5th test century & stitched a 96 runs strong partnership with Captain Virat Kohli to give England a record chase of 482 runs.
