Ashwin scored his 5th Test century on Day 3 against England before India were bowled out for 286 runs in their final batting session. For visitors, Spinners Moeen Ali and Jack Leach claimed four wickets each. Ashwin scored his 5th test century & stitched a 96 runs strong partnership with Captain Virat Kohli to give England a record chase of 482 runs. Virat Kohli smashed 62 runs before getting out on Moeen Ali’s delivery. Olly stone then bowled Ashwin to end Mohammed Siraj & Ashwin’s blooming partnership of 49 runs & to end India’s innings.
