India reach 294/7 at stumps on Day 2, lead England by 89 runs. In the last over before the stumps, Washington Sundar got saved by DRS as Dom Bess hits Sundar on the pads & appealed for LBW. But the batsman took a review & replays showed big inside edge. Sundar got save from LBW due to DRS. Sundar scored his 3rd Test Fifty & kept up India’s momentum after Rishabh Pant got dismissed for 101 runs by legendary bowler James Anderson. Washington Sundar & Axar Patel is on the crease & will resume India’s batting on Day 3 of the 4th Test match.

Earlier England won the toss on Day 1 & elected to bat first. England had a poor start after losing early wickets. Despite a brilliant half century by Ben Stokes, England was wrapped up for 205 runs. Axar Patel continues his top form by scalping four wickets whereas Ashwin took three wickets. Mohammed Siraj also registered two wickets & Sundar grabbed the crucial wicket of Ben Stokes. India will look forward to build a steady strong partnership on Day 3 & gain a strong lead whereas England will be aiming for scalping quick wickets.
