Drinks break

It’s time for some drinks! England are four wickets down & now the responsibility is on Captain Joe Root to steady England’s innings. He is batting on 27 runs along with Ollie Pope who is batting on 5. England comes to 46/4 trail by 114 runs

Earlier India ended Day 2 with a lead of 89 runs against England in the ongoing fourth test in Ahmedabad on Friday. India scored 294 runs for seven wickets down at Stumps on Day 2 all thanks to Rishabh Pant’s brilliant century & Washington’s Sundar unbeaten half century. Rishabh Pant soon got out after scoring his third test hundred & his maiden century on home ground, Sundar was standing rock solid & the duo put a 113 runs stand with 7th wicket to put India on a commanding position. India had poor start on Day 2 as they lost Cheteshwar Pujara & Ajinkya Rahane cheaply whereas Ben Stokes removed Virat Kohli on 0 runs for a duck to bring India in a struggling position. However Rishabh Pant & Rohit Sharma steadied India’s Innings before Sundar joined the wicket-keeper batsman in the middle & turned the game in India’s favor. The game on Day 3 will become more interesting as both the teams will leave no stone unturned to win the game.
