Indian Squad clears COVID-19 Test starts Physical Training in Australia!

“Men in Blue” are gearing up for an electrified India vs. Australia series by beginning their outdoor training with a light outdoor training session after the entire squad tested negative for coronavirus.

Several cricketers including Hardik Pandya, Prithvi Shaw & Mohammed Siraj attended session at Black town International Sports Park inside the Sydney Olympic Park. The BCCI posted pictures of the outdoor training & gym session of Indian players on its twitter handle. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav pacer Umesh Yadav & all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur & Test batting specialist Cheteshwar Pujara were seen warming up. Whereas India’s rising pacer sensation, T Natarajan, and Deepak Chahar were also seen in the pictures.

The Indian team is currently serving 14 day quarantine period & members have cleared COVID-19 test according to the sources. Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also posted a picture from his twitter handle with fellow spinner Kuldeep. “Back with my brother @imkuldeep18 and back on national duty for Flag of India#TeamIndia Flexed biceps #spintwins #kulcha,” he tweeted.

Team India are scheduled to play three ODIs, three T20Is & a four Test series on the tour, starting with T20Is from November 27. The much awaited India-Australia Test Series will start with a Day-Night game at Adelaide from December 17. Captain Kohli will play first test match & then will return to India as he will be on a paternity leave during that time.
