IPL 2021, RCB vs SRH: Match Preview & Match Prediction!



RCB vs SRH: The two teams who will face each other in today’s clash is Sunrisers Hyderabad & Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams got off to a contrasting start in the IPL 2021. In the first clash, Virat Kohli led RCB defeated Mumbai Indians by 2 wickets. Harshal Patel was the pick of the bowlers who registered his five wickets haul.

While with bat Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell & AB de Villiers starred with the bat. While chasing 160 runs, Virat Kohli got off to a spectacular start by scoring 33 runs off 29 balls followed by Glenn Maxwell who scored 39 runs off 28 balls. AB De Villiers changed the game in RCB’s favour with his power-pack batting. He scored 48 runs off 27 balls. Harshal Patel & Mohammed Siraj ended the match successfully on the final ball of that match.

Devdutt Padikkal is likely to make a comeback in today’s match. The return of Devdutt Padikkal will make their batting order stronger. All these years RCB’s major concern is consistency & Kohli will be aiming to work on it this time.


On the other hand, SRH started their campaign by facing a 10 runs defeat against KKR in their season-opening match. SRH will lookout for ways to register their first victory of this season. Today in the second match of the IPL 2021, it will be interesting to see whether SRH will continue with Afghanistan’s player Mohammed Nabi or give a chance to New Zealand’s star player Kane Williamson.

In the first match, Jonny Bairstow & Manish Pandey starred with the bat by scoring 55 & 61 runs respectively. In the 188 runs chase, SRH’s other batsmen couldn’t perform up to the mark on the tough batting field. As a result, they faced defeat against KKR in their season-opening match. Manish Pandey’s low strike rate in their first match raised questions on his efficiency with the bat.

Abdul Samad finished the game by scoring 19 off 8 balls but his performance proved too late for the team. In the opening match, Mohammed Nabi & Rashid Khan scalped two wickets each while T Natarajan & Bhuvneshwar scalped 1 wicket each. The spinners were in control with the ball, the pacers couldn’t deliver much in that match.

However in today’s clash against RCB, SRH will aim at returning to winning terms by displaying match winning performance.

SRH vs RCB: Match Prediction:

Both these teams look equal in terms of performance. However, SRH’s bowling looks slightly better than RCB’s bowling attack despite their poor performance in the first match of this season. SRH will try to bring their campaign back on track by registering a victory over the RCB squad.
