Amid the COVID-19 lockdown, Jasprit Bumrah is cleaning his house!

Coronavirus Pandemic has kept the whole nation including cricketers in lockdown at their home. With cricketers and other athletes are staying indoors they are finding different ways to keep themselves entertained as well as busy at their home. Adding to the list, Jasprit Bumrah is doing an interesting task of cleaning his house to impress his mother amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

Jasprit Bumrah is spending time with his family amid the coronavirus lockdown and in order to impress his mother, he chooses to clean the house. He shared a video on his social media account where the fast bowler of the Indian team squad was seen cleaning the floor of a room by using a mop stick. However poor Bumrah had to clean the floor of the same room twice and the reason he gave on twitter has led his fans to roll in laughter. He said on twitter, “My latest mobility drills have helped in keeping the house clean and my mother was extremely happy with me. P.S: Yes, I had to clean the floor of the same room 2 times by wearing no slippers”, Bumrah captioned the video on Twitter.

India is in lockdown since March 25th in order to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus. The deadly COVID-19 has brought the whole sports world to a halt. India’s three matches One day series against South Africa was suspended before the IPL league was postponed until 15th April 2020. Currently, the 21-days nationwide lockdown is scheduled to get over on 15th April 2020.

Many people from the cricket fraternity have come forward to help the needy people & others to fight the coronavirus. On Monday, India’s Captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have extended their support to the PM- CARES Fund and the Chief Minister Relief Fund of Maharashtra in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virat Kohli took on twitter & wrote, “Anushka & I are extending our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). We are extremely sad about looking at the sufferings of so many people & we hope that our contribution in some way or the other will help to ease the pain of the citizens of India”, Kohli tweeted on twitter.
