Just a few hours after getting the shocking news of Sachin Tendulkar being tested positive for COVID-19 another shocking news breaks in with Yusuf Pathan testing positive for Coronavirus. On Saturday, Former all-rounder Yusuf Pathan took to Twitter to reveal that he has also tested positive for COVID-19.
Yusuf was a part of the India Legends team which was led by Tendulkar during the recently ended Road Safety World Series T20 tournament. Yusuf Pathan said that he has mild symptoms & is currently home Quarantining while taking all necessary precautions & medications.
Yusuf Pathan took to Twitter & wrote, “I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. Post the confirmation, I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions and medication required.”
“I would request all the people who came in contact with me to get themselves tested as soon as possible”, Yusuf added. Yusuf played a crucial role in the final of the Road Safety World Series where he scored unbeaten 62 runs by scalping two wickets.
During the course of Yusuf’s career, he has scored 810 runs including two centuries in the ODI format while he has scored 236 runs at an impressive strike rate of 146.58 in the T20I format of the game.
Yusuf was also a part of the IPL tournament where he played 194 IPL games & scored 3204 runs. Yusuf did brilliant bowling in the IPL & had managed to scalp 42 wickets as well. In IPL he represented Rajasthan Royals, KKR & SRH.
