Jasprit Bumrah receives the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday. He shared a picture on social media in which he is seen getting vaccinated & has urged his fans to do the same & stay safe.
“Vaccinated. Please stay safe everyone,” Jasprit Bumrah tweeted. Earlier today, Siddharth Kaul & Deepak Chahar got the first shot of the COVID-19 Vaccine. Sharing the picture of the same on social media Chahar tweeted, “Got my first dose of COVID vaccine today. I urge you all to get vaccinated as soon as possible. And a big thanks to our police, doctors and all the frontline staff for taking care of us. I hope we recover soon from this COVID pandemic”. Whereas Siddharth Kaul said that an “armor” of vaccine is essential to defeat the ongoing COVID-19 crisis & get our lives back to normalcy.
“The only way to win the war against this pandemic is to have an armor of the Vaccine. Got my first Jab today !! I urge all of you to please get your vaccination done asap. We all want our lives back to the normal,” Siddharth tweeted.
Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara & Ishant Sharma are the other Indian cricketers who have received the first shot of the COVID-19 Vaccine on Monday.
Jasprit Bumrah will be next seen in action when India will come into a face-off with New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship which will be held in Southampton from June 18.
After the final, the Indian Cricket team will play a five-match test series against England starting in August. And Jasprit Bumrah is included in India’s both test squads. Bumrah has been one of India’s main bowlers since his Test debut in 2018 after which he emerged as the pace spearhead and a death-overs specialist in India’s cricket team.
Jasprit Bumrah is 4th ranked on the ICC ODI Rankings for bowlers & he is the former World’s No 1 bowler in the ODI format. Recently Bumrah got married to TV Presenter Sanjana Ganesan & Bumrah often shares their PDAs on social media which are sheer couple-goals for his fans.
