Recently Kane Williamson was in a frenzy live Instagram chat session with David Warner. New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson picked India skipper Virat Kohli and former South Africa batsman AB De Villiers as the best batsmen in the world at the moment.

In an Instagram live chat session with his SunRisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner, Williamson revealed that Kohli is very keen to dominate in all the three formats of cricket and he has set the bar so high for other cricketers. “It’s very hard to pinpoint one. Someone like AB De Villiers I know he only plays franchise cricket for now but in terms of gifted players who can serve the nation, he is right up there and he is a top guy officially. He is one of the special players of our time. But there are so many quality players right now”, Williamson added.

“Virat Kohli in all the three formats of cricket has a hunger to dominate. He is so good to watch and play against and also very good to learn as well. He has set the standards high for other cricketers”, he added.

Kohli is currently at the second spot in the ICC Test Rankings while he is in the first place in the ODI format. In the T20 format of the game, the right-handed batsman stands at the tenth position. On the other hand, Williamson has played 80 Tests for New Zealand and scored a whopping 6476 runs at an average of 50.99. In 151 ODIs he has fetched 6173 runs including 13 tons and 39 fifties.

He captained the team at the ICC World Cup Final last year where Black Caps were denied their maiden title on a technicality after the finals with England ended in a tie even after the Super Over.
