Mayank Agarwal hit A Spectacular Maiden IPL Century in just 45 Balls!


Mayank Agarwal fetched his maiden IPL century on Sunday against KXIP fetched in just 45 balls thereby taking KXIP’s target to new heights.

Opening the side’s batting with KXIP captain KL Rahul, Mayank wiped out Rajasthan Royals bowlers right from the beginning hitting Jaydev Unadkat and Ankit Rajpoot for a flurry of boundaries inside the flat Sharjah deck. After the restrictions got eased Mayank decided to use his feet & hit the leg spinners Rahul Tewatia & Shreyas Gopal for two sixes each in their first overs. Agarwal scored his first half century in just 26 balls & then in no time KXIP’s 100 came to balls later when Agarwal hit Gopal’s ball for the second six in the over.

Jofra Archer’s bowl was smashed for two boundaries in the next over as Agarwal scores went into 90’s. Agarwal took Gopal through the covers hitting fours to bring up his maiden IPL century in the 15th over. The knock was full of 9 fours & 7 sixes. KL Rahul’s form from the last match was a support for Agarwal & proved dangerous for Rajasthan Royals bowlers.

Rajasthan royals finally got Agarwal’s big wicket when he got caught by Sanju Samson on Tom Curran’s delivery but only after the spectacular batsman had already smashed 106 runs off just 59 balls with 10 fours & 7 sixes.
