Mumbai Indians are still on top of the Points table after winning a match with gigantic five wickets against Delhi Capitals.
Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the 27th match of IPL 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Quinton de Kock & Suryakumar Yadav scored half centuries which helped Mumbai Indians to chase the target of 163 runs set by DC. Ishan Kishan further stitched in a fine show with his bat as the MI jumped on top of the points table. South African pacer Kasigo Rabada was the highest wicket taker for DC grabbing two wickets. Earlier DC batsman Shikhar Dhawan played an unbeaten knock of 69 runs scored in 52 balls which helped the team to post a total of 162/4. Dhawan’s innings comprised of six fours & received support from Captain Shreyas Iyer. Iyer scored 42 runs off 32 balls by hitting five boundaries. However the other batsmen failed to make an impact on field. MI all-rounder Krunal pandya was the star bowler who picked up two wickets. New Zealand pacer Trent Boult also grabbed one wicket for Mumbai Indians. Restricted bowling along with perfect batting helped Mumbai Indians to hail stupendous victory.
