Mumbai Indians has displayed a professional performance to beat RCB by five wickets on Wednesday & go on top of the IPL 2020 Points Table.

Tied on 14 points with both RCB & DC, MI on 16 points with the highest Net Run Rate in the ongoing IPL have secured a spot in the Playoffs. And with the race of three spots still in progress, MI have also guaranteed a top finish which means they will directly play the first qualifier. RCB remains on 2nd spot despite of losing their second match in line but have a better NRR than Delhi Capitals.

KXIP & KKR are on 4th & 5th spot with 12 points each while SRH & RR are behind them with 10 points each ensuring that it will be a thrilling finish of the league stage of the IPL 2020. In the race of Orange Cap, KL Rahul is still proudly leading however Devdutt Padikkal has moved up on fifth spot in the run scoring charts after producing an excellent 74 runs knock in yesterday’s match.

Bumrah took a brilliant three wickets haul to move up on the Purple Cap race with 20 wickets for the ongoing season, going toe-to-toe with fellow pacer Mohammed Shami. But a better economy rate means Bumrah is now 2nd in the Purple Cap Race which is proudly being led by Rabada with 23 wickets registered on his name. The next match will see KKR take on CSK who are officially knocked out of the contention for the playoffs.
