Mumbai Indians Grabs Top Spot on Points Table after beating SunRisers Hyderabad!

The second double header of the IPL 2020 was held on Sunday between Mumbai Indians & SunRisers Hyderabad. By winning the game against SunRisers Hyderabad Mumbai Indians moved on top of the Points table on Sunday.

CSK was thrashed KXIP by 10 wickets in the second match of the day & took sixth position on the points table in the IPL 2020. Mumbai Indians now have six points scored from five games with three victories in their bag while CSK registered their second win of the season after losing three consecutive games. Mumbai Indians are at a tie with Delhi Capitals & Royal Challengers Bangalore at six points but thanks to a superior net run-rate which they have maintained, they secured top spot at the points table.

KKR, Rajasthan Royals, CSK & SRH all have bagged four points on the points table but KKR are placed on fourth spot on the basis of a better net run rate. KXIP’s captain KL Rahul who scored 63 runs against CSK at the Dubai International Stadium has grabbed the orange cap from his teammate Mayank Agarwal. KL Rahul has 302 runs scored from five matches & he is 20 runs ahead of FAF Du Plessis who scored 87 runs on Sunday to take his tally of runs to 282 after being featured in five games.

Mohammed Shami had the chance to take back the purple cap but he failed miserably to pick up any wickets against CSK on Sunday & so the Purple Cap remained with Chahal due to a better economy rate.
