Today is a very special day for Hardik as Three years back on this day the all-rounder scored his maiden Test match Hundred.

Hardik Pandya’s IPL franchise Mumbai Indians posted a throwback picture on social media where the all-rounder is seen posing with the trophy of Player of the match as well as the series winning trophy after team India beat Sri Lanka in the third test match during the 2017 tour. Hardik performed exceptionally in that innings as he scored a century in just 86 balls which is one of the fastest century made by an Indian Batsmen at No 8 as he did in India’s only Innings in the Test match.

Hardik Pandya scored 108 runs from 96 balls with spectacular 8 fours & 7 sixes & helped team India to post an outstanding innings of 487 runs. Whereas Sri Lanka bowled out for 135 & 181 runs which helped team India to won that particular innings & the series by 3-0.

Hardik Pandya is out of action since India’s T20Is against South Africa which was played in September 2019 due to a severe back injury & then uncertain coronavirus enforced break. Hardik is expected to return back to action with IPL 2020 which is set to begin from September 19. Mumbai Indians are the only franchise which have won prestigious IPL title for four times & is looking forward to add the fifth title in their kitty.

The IPL 2020 will commence in UAE as the rising coronavirus cases in India makes it impossible to host the IPL within the country. The IPL 2020 will start from September 19th & the finals is on November 10th. The matches will be played across three cities Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah.
