It’s breaking! Mumbai Indians Scout & wicket-keeper consultant has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. “Mumbai Indians’ scout and wicket keeping consultant Mr Kiran More has tested positive for Covid-19,” Mumbai Indians states in its Official Statement.
“Mr More is currently asymptomatic & has been isolated. Mumbai Indians & Kiran More have followed all the BCCI health guidelines”, the statement further added. Mumbai Indians also states that their medical team will continue to monitor More’s health and follow the BCCI protocols.
Earlier last week, Delhi Capitals all-rounder Axar Patel has tested positive for COVID-19. On Sunday the news of RCB’s opener Devdutt Padikkal testing positive for coronavirus has raised a storm on social media. Devdutt Padikkal is in-home quarantine after testing positive for coronavirus on march 22. KKR’s Nitish Rana had also tested positive for coronavirus. However, he has recovered & joined the team’s training session.
Earlier last week, we have shared the news of Wankhede Stadium’s ground staff testing positive for COVID-19. But today two more members of Wankhede Ground Staff & One Plumber tested positive for COVID-19. Rising cases of COVID-19 in Maharashtra is a matter of concern for BCCI & Franchises. Mumbai Indians is slated to host 10 IPL matches with the first match on 10th April. IPL will start from April 9th with Mumbai Indians facing RCB in the tournament opener match in Chennai.
