Even Babul Kumar was run out for 24 runs & the side needed 98 runs from 60 balls with massive eight wickets in hand. Mangal Mahrour handled the innings for Bihari by registering his half century & was glued on crease as his team needed 55 runs off final four overs. For Rajsthan, Mahipal Lomror’s stupendous knock of 78 runs off 37 balls helped Rajasthan Royals to post a total of 164/5 in the allotted 20 overs against Bihar. Opting to bat first, Rajasthan got off to a steady start as Openers Bharat Sharma & Ankit Lamba put on 59 runs in just first nine overs. However, Bihar came back stronger as the team dismissed Bharat and Ashok Menaria in quick succession, reducing Rajasthan to 60/2 in the 10th over.
Ankit then found support in Maniple Lomror & both the batsmen together scored runs in quick succession putting Bihar bowlers under pressure. However going for a big shot brought Ankit’s wicket in the 16th over reducing Rajasthan to 109/3. In the final overs of the match, Lomror smashed all kinds of attacking shots & his brilliant 78 runs knock guided Rajasthan to a total of more than 160 runs mark.
