All those cricket lovers, get ready to experience the thrill of cricket matches as India Women’s & Men’s team will tour the UK after completing their quarantine period in Mumbai. On Wednesday, Indian Mithali Raj & Ravichandran Ashwin reached Mumbai on a chartered flight from Chennai.

The BCCI tweeted the pictures of the players arriving in Mumbai on the flight. BCCI captioned the pictures as “First stop, Mumbai”.

The Indian men’s & women’s teams will tour the UK after completing their quarantine period in Mumbai. Along with Ashwin and Mithali, Mayank Agarwal, Mohammed Siraj, and Washington Sundar were also spotted among other players. Earlier, Mayank & Siraj had shared pictures of preparing for taking the flight on their Instagram stories.

The Indian Women’s team will come into a face-off with England Women’s team in all three formats of cricket. The Indian Men’s team will first face New Zealand in the final of the inaugural World Test Championship before facing England in a five-match test series.

Indian Women’s team & England Women’s team will play a one-off test commencing from June 16 before a three-match ODI series. The two teams will then come into a face-off in a three-match T20I series.

The World Test Championship final will start on June 18 & will continue till June 22 with June 23 kept as a reserve day. In WTC final India will come into a face-off with New Zealand. Initially, the match was slated to be played at the Lord’s stadium but monitoring the COVID-19 situation across the globe, the ICC has decided to move the WTC final at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

The five-match Test series against England will start on August 4. The five-match Test series will be played at Trent Bridge, Lord’s, Headingly, Oval, and Old Trafford, with the final match beginning on September 10.
