RCB registered an easy 8 wickets win against KKR after restricting them to 84 runs in 20 overs & go second on the IPL 2020 Points Table.
RCB are level on points with table toppers DC with both the teams having played 10 games each but Delhi have a better Net Run Rate. However, having wrapped up the chase in just 13.3 overs, RCB gave their Net Run Rate a superlative boost. RCB climbed above Mumbai Indians but if MI beats CSK win their next game then they will move on top of the Points Table with a better Net run Rate with DC & RCB both moving down on the Points Table.
However yesterday’s clash means KKR are now four points behind DC & RCB, but are only two points above KXIP & RR making the fight for the play-offs quite open. The race for the Orange Cap did not saw much movement with players scoring low. Chahal however took two wickets to move up to 15 wicket scalps in the IPL 2020, leveling up with pacer Jasprit Bumrah who is above Chahal at 3rd spot in the Purple cap race maintaining a better economy rate.
Rabada at the current moment is racing ahead with the Purple Cap by scalping 21 wickets on his name for this season with Mohammed Shami behind him with16 wickets in hand. Thursday’s game will see SunRisers Hyderabad, who have played nine games so far, take on Rajasthan Royals, with both teams looking to keep their play-off hopes alive.
