The much-awaited clash between RCB & RR will start in a while! Meanwhile, in the toss, RCB won the toss & opted to bowl first against RR in today’s clash at the Wankhede Stadium.
At the times of toss, Virat Kohli said, “Going to bowl. We know the results here whether there is dew or not. Confident that we can chase down anything. We will Try & exploit whatever we can with the new ball in Wankhede’s condition. Very exciting for me as a batsman but the bowlers will have to adjust. Have experienced conditions which are totally opposite in Chennai. Just one change. Richardson replaces Patidar. Has been bowling quite well in the Big Bash League”. Wankhede’s pitch is batting-friendly as it supports batsmen more than the bowlers. Bowling first can be an advantage for RCB as dew will play a role in the later stage of the match making it difficult for bowlers to bowl.
On the other hand RR’s captain, Sanju Samson said, “Will be a good experience for the batsmen to bat first here. It’s an evenly balanced pitch we just have to play some good cricket. It’s all about playing with the heart. Up & downs are a part of IPL. It’s very important to trust yourself & back your teammates. We have made one change in our Playing XI, Gopal replaces Unadkat”.
RCB will head in today’s clash with the positives of their previous victories while RR will come into the match with the aim of registering much-needed victory in today’s clash. Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team in the IPL 2021 that hasn’t faced any loss in the matches they have played so far. RCB has won all three matches in the ongoing IPL season. While RR has won only one match out of three matches played so far. Who team will outclass whom at the ‘Stadium of Dreams’ can be figured out only when the match progresses further.
