Rohit Sharma’s Outstanding Net Sessions Impresses Actor Ranveer Singh!

Rohit Sharma who is one of the most successful Captain in the Indian Premier League has kick started his preparations in full swing for the upcoming IPL season.

The Indian Premier league is all set to commence from 19th September in the UAE. With IPL dates coming nearby, the players from different franchises have started their individual training at their respective centers. Just like other cricketers Rohit Sharma too started his preparations in full swing for the 13th edition of the IPL, after several months of inactivity due to coronavirus enforced lockdown. The day from which Rohit Sharma has started his training, India’s Opener Batsman has been sharing with his followers a glimpse of his various training sessions, including workouts & net sessions.

On Wednesday, Rohit Sharma shared a video from his net sessions where he is seen playing various spectacular shots for which he is famous for. “Up and running with @mumbaiindians,” Rohit captioned the video on his Instagram account.

As soon as Rohit shared his video on social media in no time the video became viral over Internet with his followers liking & sharing the video. The video became an instant hit with over 2 lakh likes on the video in just an hour. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was also impressed by Rohit’s dedication & training session & he praised Rohit by commenting, “ALL HAIL THE HITMAN”.

The video starts with Rohit doing warm up by sprinting across the length of the indoor facility & then diving into his net session. Front foot defense to cut from his trademark pull to cover drives, Rohit plays all kinds of shots with great enthusiasm with immaculate piece of timing.

Rohit Sharma helped the Mumbai Indians franchise to hail their record of fourth IPL title last year where they defeated CSK in the finals by just one run. However Mumbai Indians have a terrible experience of playing IPL in UAE as back in 2014 when IPL was staged in UAE, Mumbai Indians had lost all five matches. In 2014, half season of IPL was staged in UAE due to general elections which was held in India. But Rohit doesn’t want to take any chance now & is looking forward to guide his team towards winning the 13th edition of the IPL by keeping himself in shape.
