Pakistan’s all-rounder Shadab Khan has been ruled out of the South Africa Tour after suffering from a left toe injury. Shadab suffered an injury while batting during the second ODI against South Africa on Sunday. Shadab has to undergo rehabilitation for up to four weeks.
According to an Official Statement from the PCB, the scans showed that Shadab has suffered from “an intraarticular communicated fracture” though there is no displacement nor angulation. The injury will be treated at the earliest & Shadab need to undergo a four-week rehabilitation”.
“Shadab Khan has been ruled out from remaining South Africa & Zimbabwe tours after suffering from a left toe injury while batting in the second ODI match against South Africa that has sidelined him for up to four weeks”, the PCB said in an Official Statement.
In the second ODI, South Africa won the match as Pakistan fell short of 18 runs in the chase of Mammoth 342 runs.
