Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar got involved in a friendly conversation on twitter and Shoaib Akhtar challenges Mohammed Kaif to host a face-off between both the former cricketers’ sons.
He tweeted, “Toh Phir @MohammadKaif match ho jaaye Kabir aur Mikael Ali Akhtar ka? He will get his answers about Pace. Give him my love and care”. The conversation started when Mohammad Kaif posted a video in which his son Kabir was asking his dad that it is easy to face Shoaib Akhtar because his bowling pace is fast and when the batsman hits the ball then it goes quickly to the fence.
Earlier Mohammad Kaif tweeted a video to appeal to people to practice social distancing by staying indoors at home in order to stop the deadly Coronavirus. He tweeted, “Stop the virus from scoring big runs. Be your own captain and win this battle against Coronavirus! Spread the field. Practice Social Distancing and remember our Prime Minister’s advice”, he captioned the video.
India is in lockdown until April 14th to control the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Mohammad Kaif is among the Indian cricketers who supported the 21 days lockdown that was announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a major step to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Due to Coronavirus Pandemic, the major sporting events across the globe have been canceled or postponed in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Indian Premier League, Tokyo Olympics were also postponed while prestigious Wimbledon was the first time canceled since World War II.
Coronavirus Pandemic has affected 14 lakhs people worldwide and resulted in 84,000 deaths globally.
