The IPL matches are always scheduled back to back which leaves players with no time to spend with each other except which they spend on field while playing the match & putting all their efforts to get their team win. So whenever Players get some leisure time they make the most of it by engaging themselves in various recreational activities.
Recently SRH shared a video on its social media handle where they David Warner along with SRH players were seen playing volleyball on beach & enjoying their day-off to the fullest. The video starts with Warner levelling the sand within his court before the start of the game. Despite, it was a fun game Warner who is a true competitor tries to give his all the efforts for his team’s cause. From smashing the ball till performing the defensive duties he managed it all. In fact he also took some knocks for his team.
As per the team’s protocol which is set by the BCCI the players are not allowed outside their bio-secure bubbles. Warner & his team hopes that this fun activity will help them to rejuvenate after showing a disappointing performance against Mumbai Indians in their previous game. Mumbai Indians defeated SRH by 34 runs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday in the afternoon match of the season.
However before their crucial game against KXIP on October 8th, SRH have suffered a major setback as their bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hip injury. The team announced that Prithvi Raj Yarra will come as a replacement for Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the remaining matches.
Despite of the major setback Warner & team need to regroup & get ready for their upcoming matches. After a few days Off, SRH will once again get back to the hectic schedule with their next three games scheduled to take place in a span of six days from October 8th-13th.
