Suryakumar Yadav who was omitted from India’s tour to Australia scored an unbeaten half-century to help MI beat RCB in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Suryakumar Yadav showed patience & kept calm even when RCB Captain Kohli tried to put him off his game by sledging him. A video from Wednesday’s clash is doing rounds on social media in which Kohli can be seen walking up to Suryakumar in a bid to sledge him but the top-order batsman didn’t reacted to Virat’s act, he kept calm & walked away. In the match MI while chasing a target of 165 runs got over the target with five wickets still in their hand. Suryakumar Yadav was the star player of yesterday’s clash by playing a spectacular knock of 79 runs off 43 balls. He hit 10 boundaries & three maximum sixes during his stint with the bat.
Suryakumar was also awarded as the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his heroics showed with the bat that helped Mumbai Indians hail victory & grab a top position at the top of the IPL 2020 Points Table. Earlier after being sent to bat, Kohli led RCB could post a below average total of 164 runs for six wickets from 20 overs.
Devdutt Padikkal was the star batsmen for RCB who scored 74 runs off 45 balls. Bumrah was the star bowler for MI as he showed heroics with ball by fetching three wickets conceding 14 runs from his quota of four overs at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in yesterday’s clash.
