India’s pacer T Natarajan took to Instagram to reveal that he successfully underwent knee surgery on Tuesday. T Natarajan shared a picture of him from a hospital & said that the “road back” to the cricket field is long but he is surely going to be back by getting stronger & fitter than ever before.
“Today, I underwent knee surgery & am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff. I am grateful to #BCCI & to all those who have wished for my recovery. I am grateful to #BCCI & to all that have wishes well for me. The road back to the 22 yards is long. But I have taken the most crucial step today. Looking forward to coming back stronger & fitter than ever before. Thanks to all of you for your support, blessings, and good wishes,” India’s pacer T Natarajan captioned the picture on Instagram.
T Natarajan who plays for SRH in the IPL was ruled out of the ongoing IPL 2021 on April 22 after suffering a knee injury. Natarajan played in two matches in this year’s IPL 2021 for SRH & he scalped a couple of wickets. Before IPL 2021, Natarajan had missed four T20Is & Two ODIs against England.
T Natarajan also became the first Indian to make his International Debut in all three formats on the same tour i.e. India tour of Australia. T Natarajan went on the India tour of Australia as a net bowler however India struggled as many players were injured so Natarajan got the golden chance to play for the National team which he grabbed with both hands.
We from Cricketflicker wish the left-arm pacer a speedy recovery & early return to the Cricket field. Get well soon #TNatarajan
