The BCCI is planning to figure out a concrete plan till the end of June as the body discusses resumption of cricket training. The BCCI believes that it will be able to “pull off something” towards the end of June as the body is discussing about the resumption of training.

“We will make an arrangement & shift the players to one place when we will become 100% confident. For training, NCA has been discussed. We may look for other options as well, we need to keep in mind the state restrictions on travel and monsoon before taking a decision,” a source within the BCCI said to a media portal. “We will be able to pull something off till the end of June. Cricketers are eager to get back to field. It has been a really long time since sports stopped but as of now we are figuring out a concrete plan to resume,” the source added.

The Coronavirus Pandemic has seriously affected sports across the globe. Several events have been cancelled or postponed due to the deadly virus. The 2020 edition of the IPL has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Not only IPL but also the T20 World Cup is under the threat to get postponed till next year because of the coronavirus pandemic. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday delayed a decision on ”all agenda items” until June 10. The Cricket Australia has also resumed cricket training from 1st June with top players of the Aussie’s squad getting back to the pitch.
