‘King Kohli’ on Friday reached the desirable milestone of 10,000 ODI Runs while batting at the No.3 spot during the ongoing second ODI match against England at the MCA Cricket Stadium in Pune.
Virat Kohli is the second batsman to cross the 10,000 runs mark while batting at the No.3 position after former Australia captain Ricky Ponting. Ponting has scored a mammoth of 12,662 runs from 330 innings while Kohli crossed the 10,000 runs mark in his 190th Innings. Sangakkara is followed by South Africa’s Jacques Kallis who is 4th on the list after scoring 7,774 runs.
