Indian team captain Virat Kohli has returned back to Mumbai after the IPL 2021 got postponed indefinitely & has started working to help people who are affected by COVID-19.

The rapid surge in the COVID-19 cases has created a huge burden on India’s medical infrastructure. Referring to the current crisis, Anushka Sharma recently in a video revealed that she & Virat Kohli will start a “movement” to provide relief to people affected by COVID-19.

Rahul N Kanal who is an active member of Yuva Sena of the Shiv Sena’s youth wing shared certain pictures along with Indian Captain Virat Kohli. “Meeting our Indian Team Captain Virat Kohli…Respect & Love for the movement he has started working on for COVID relief… No words just Respect and Prayers for all his efforts!!!” he tweeted.

Recently Virat Kohli’s IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore had pledged to extend financial help to contribute for the infrastructure related to oxygen support to aid the country’s fight against the deadly virus. They had also planned to wear a special blue jersey in solidarity with the country’s frontline workers. However, rising cases of COVID-19 within the bio-bubble has resulted in the postponement of the IPL 2021 & thus their plans to wear blue jersey remains unexecuted. In these tiring times, Virat’s effort to help the people who are affected by COVID-19 will matter a lot.

Recently the CA & ACA confirms that the IPL bound Australian contingent has departed for Maldives. And will stay there until the ban on travel is lifted from Australia. CA & ACA extends their sincere thanks to the BCCI for their responsiveness in safely transporting the Australians from India to Maldives in less than two days after the decision to postpone the IPL 2021 was taken. Virat-led RCB was in the third spot on the IPL 2021 Points Table by winning five out of seven matches being played.
