Recently Virat Kohli’s IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore had pledged to extend financial help to contribute for the infrastructure related to oxygen support to aid the country’s fight against the deadly virus. They had also planned to wear a special blue jersey in solidarity with the country’s frontline workers. However, rising cases of COVID-19 within the bio-bubble has resulted in the postponement of the IPL 2021 & thus their plans to wear blue jersey remains unexecuted. In these tiring times, Virat’s effort to help the people who are affected by COVID-19 will matter a lot.
Recently the CA & ACA confirms that the IPL bound Australian contingent has departed for Maldives. And will stay there until the ban on travel is lifted from Australia.
