Virat Kohli shares an Emotional Post after RCB lost Eliminator Match against SRH!

RCB captain Kohli took to Twitter after his team’s drastic loss in the IPL 2020 eliminator on Friday to share a group photo along with an emotional message.

Kohli’s RCB team was hunting for their first IPL trophy but unfortunately knocked out by SRH in Abu Dhabi after suffering a massive six wickets loss in the must win match. After RCB’s season ended without any silverware again in the cash-rich league, Kohli admitted that things are not going in their way but he is still very proud of the entire RCB team.

“Together through the highs and lows. It’s been a great journey for us as a unit. Yes things did not go our way but proud of the whole group. Thank you to all our fans for your support. Your love makes us stronger. See you all soon. #PlayBold @royalchallengersbangalore,” Kohli captioned the picture on Twitter.

In the IPL 2020 Eliminator match, RCB was sent out to bat by SRH Captain Warner who won the toss & decided to field first. Kohli came out to bat & open the innings with Devdutt Padikkal but the move backfired as the RCB captain was sent back by Jason Holder in the second over. Holder struck again in his next over to remove the in-form Padikkal & push RCB towards defeat. Aaron Finch & AB De Villiers tried to manage the batting order of RCB but consumed a lot of balls in this process which let SRH bowlers to dictate in the middle overs.

Finch was dismissed for 32 runs by Shahbaz Nadeem while De Villeirs was bowled by Yorker T Natarajan. SRH bowlers restricted RCB to a total of 131 runs from seven wickets in 20 overs. Warner & Manish added 41 runs partnership for the second wicket after losing Shreevats Goswami in the very first over of their runs chase.

Warner got out in a controversial decision by TV umpire while Pandey edged one to wicketkeeper off Adam Zampa. Kane Williamson scored a half century & he was aptly supported by Jason in the end.
