Virat Kohli shared a heart touching inspirational message for his fans on Instagram. India Captain Virat Kohli uploaded a picture from a match against the West Indies where he was seen sitting down on one knee with his other leg stretched ahead. West Indies bowler Hayden Walsh Jr is also seen in the picture.
“No need to look back. As we move only one way- AHEAD”, the stylish batsman captioned the photo. Kohli is spending some solace time with his wife Anushka Sharma as India is still under the lockdown enforced due to coronavirus. Recently India Captain also appeared in a live Instagram chat with India’s football team captain Sunil Chhetri where he talked about various aspects of life. He has been consistently posting the snippets of his life in the ongoing lockdown as well as advising the people to stay at home & maintain social distancing. Not only with football captain but also with various cricketers, Kohli has appeared on various Instagram live chats including with former RCB teammates Kevin Pietersen and AB De Villiers.
Virat Kohli would have been leading the RCB franchise in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, but the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the postponement of the IPL indefinitely by the BCCI. Virat Kohli will be seen back on the pitch for practicing as the Government has announced the new regulations on Sunday which stated that the Stadiums and Sports Complexes can be opened but without spectators.
Kohli has played 86 test matches and scored 7240 runs at an average of 53.62. In ODIs, Kohli has 11867 runs from 248 caps and in T20 Internationals the India Captain has fetched whopping 2794 runs from 82 appearances. He is a brilliant all-time highest scorer of the shortest format of the game. Currently India is under a nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of deadly COVID-19.
