RCB star player AB De Villiers accepted that RCB needs to work hard on their bowling & fielding skills as they are marching ahead in the tournament. His comments came just after RCB defeated Mumbai Indians in Super over on Monday at the Dubai International Stadium. In the super over Mumbai Indians were able to score just seven runs thanks to Navdeep Saini’s brilliant bowling & then came Virat & AB De Villiers on field to & chased the target set by rivals Mumbai Indians with ease. Both Mumbai & RCB scored 201 runs & then the match entered the Super Over.
AB De Villiers as usual handled the batting side of RCB very well & helped his team to set a target of 201 runs for Mumbai Indians to achieve.
Talking about yesterday’s nerve exhilarating match De Villiers said in a video posted by RCB on their Official Twitter handle. “Fantastic game of cricket, without sounding arrogant, we were no doubt the best team on the day against Mumbai. We really made it easier for them in the second innings with the ball in hand, there were mistakes on the field and we need to stop them going ahead in the tournament. It was only our third game, maybe I am being too harsh but we need to get things right, we are going to work on our skills in the field, boys showed fantastic character and I am proud of that”.
For RCB, Navdeep finished with figures of 0-43 in four overs, Saini also bowled the Super Over in which he gave just seven runs to their opponents Mumbai Indians even though Pollard & Hardik were on field to play the Super Over. And after that Kohli & AB De Villiers came to bat & meet the target easily registering RCB win against Mumbai Indians.
RCB till now has played three matches in the IPL 2020 & has managed to win two out of three matches. RCB will face one of the best teams of the IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals on October 3rd.
