Yuvraj Singh receives a grand Reception after India Legends won the Road Safety World Series Title!


Yuvraj Singh was one of the star performers for India Legends as they won the Road Safety World Series Title in Raipur, after defeating Sri-Lanka Legends in the final on Sunday.

As the players returned to the hotel, they received a grand reception from the hotel staff. Yuvraj Singh shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen dancing his way into the hotel as the staff give him a guard of honour, by holding long handle pans to imitate swords. A song from the blockbuster hit movie “Bahubali” can be heard playing in the background.

“Broken bahubali,” Yuvraj Singh captioned the video. Harbhajan Singh also commented on the video with clapping emoji’s while pacer Ishwar Pandey wrote, “Yuvi paa legend”. In the final, Yuvraj Singh hit four sixes & four fours in his 41 balls 60 runs as India Legends finished with a decent total of 181/4. Yusuf Pathan was the star performer for India legends as he hit 62 runs off 36 balls in an innings which comprised of five sixes & four boundaries.

In response to India Legends, Sri-Lanka Legends could score just 167/7 in the allotted 20 overs as Yusuf & his brother Irfan Pathan scalped two wickets each. Yuvraj finished the season of the Road Safety World Series as the highest six-hitter by hitting 17 sixes from seven matches.

Sri-Lanka Legends Tillakaratne Dilshan finished as the tournament’s highest run-scorer by scoring 271 runs while Sachin Tendulkar was India’s highest run-scorer with 233 runs. Dilshan was also the highest wicket-taker by registering 12 wickets on his name, while Pathan and Munaf Patel finished behind him by picking nine wickets each.
