PAK vs NED Live Score, T20 WC 2022: Pakistan vs Netherlands Preview

PAK vs NED Live Score, T20 WC 2022: Pakistan is all set to lock horns with the Netherlands in Match 29 of the T20 World Cup 2022 on October 30 at Perth Stadium in Australia. Pakistan & Netherlands both have failed to register a win in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022. They are lagging at the bottom of the Group 2 Points table & would be aiming to bounce back in tomorrow’s fixture in order to keep themselves in their contention for the Playoffs.

Pakistan Preview

Pakistan didn’t have a good run in the T20 World Cup so far as they lost their opening clash against India followed by their fixture against Zimbabwe. In their previous clash against Zimbabwe, they displayed a lethal bowling show outclassing opponents for just 130 runs. Wasim jr was the most successful wicket-taker by returning with figures of 4-24. He was well supported by Shadab khan who returned with figures of 4-23.

However, Pakistan failed to capitalize on their good bowling show as they failed to chase a meager total of 131 runs & succumbed to a one-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan. The inability of Babar & Rizwan to score runs at the top order has been a major concern for Pakistan. Iftikhar Ahmed performed well in their first match against India but failed to put in runs in their previous clash against Zimbabwe. However, Shan Masood (44 off 38) & Mohammad Nawaz (22) provided some resistance & took Pakistan near the chase. But failed to guide the team over the line. Heading into the clash against underdogs Netherlands would aim to improve their performance & register a massive win.

Netherlands Preview

The Netherlands is coming into this clash on the back of a humiliating 56-run defeat over India. Their bowling was good in the initial 10 overs as they were not allowing Indian batters to open their arms. However later they couldn’t stop India from scoring runs & ended up conceding 179 runs in 20 overs. Meekeren and Klaassen picked one wicket each while others failed to return with even a single wicket. Just like bowling their batting order also failed to perform well with the willow & could manage to score just 123 runs in the target of 180 runs. Tim Pringle (20), Ackermann (17), and Shariz (16) all failed to hit the straps. They need to up their game with both the bat & ball if they aim to stay alive in contention for Playoffs.
