Leg Spinner Pravin Tambe will play in the Caribbean Premier League at 48 years of age as one of the CPL’s franchise has signed him.
Pravin Tambe has been signed by Tribago Knight Riders & will become the first Indian to play at the CPL, which is scheduled to play between August 18 to September 10. Bollywood Actor ShahRukh Khan co-owns the Knight Riders franchise which started its journey in the IPL as KKR in 2008.
The Wrist Spinner has played just two first class matches for his home team Mumbai in the year 2013-2014. He was sold to KKR in the IPL auctions in the month of December. But Pravin could not play the cash-rich league after being disqualified by the BCCI for playing in unsanctioned cricket leagues like the T10.
