Raju Srivastav Death: Renowned comedian Raju Srivastav passed away on Wednesday at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Raju was hospitalized on August 10 after suffering a cardiac arrest & since then he was battling severe health issues. Finally, the fighter succumbed to his illness & lost the battle of life on Wednesday at the age of 58.
Known for his epic sense of humor, Raju never failed to make people laugh through his comic roles. The entire Cricket fraternity paid a tribute to one of the finest actors in the comedy genre & also send condolences to his family & close friends.
Taking to Twitter, Virender Sehwag wrote, “Om Shanti, Raju Bhai. A genuine comedian who made people laugh with clean humor and sharp observation. Condolences to his family and fans. #RajuSrivastav.”
After Virender Sehwag, Aakash Chopra too paid a tribute to Raju Srivastava. He said that Raju will stay in people’s memories & will be remembered for the way he made everyone laugh.
India’s ODI star player Shikhar Dhawan also paid his tribute to the epic comedian. He tweeted, “Saddened to hear the tragic news of Raju Srivastav’s demise. May God bless his soul. You will be in our hearts forever. My condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”

Raju Srivastav has created a special place for himself in the comedy genre through his clean, sharp & well-timed comic sense. There was no vulgar or double meaning in his comedy roles. He rose to fame from the first-of-its-kind stand-up comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. Since then there was no stopping for Raju Srivastava who acted in almost 100 Bollywood films & delivered memorable performances working along with ‘Big Names’ of Bollywood. After his Bollywood stint, he also joined BJP and had a successful stint as a leader.
