India’s opener batsman, Rohit Sharma has praised Mumbai Police for working tirelessly round the clock during the COVID-19 crisis and appealed people to do a little favor by staying at home.
Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma on Saturday has praised the efforts of the Mumbai Police for working tireless and doing vigilance ‘round the clock’ during the COVID-19 pandemic in the country and appealing people to stay at home. Sharma took to twitter and posted a video captioning it, “Big round of applause to @MumbaiPolice for working round the clock and making sure every single part of Mumbai is covered and under vigilance. It’s our duty to help them too by doing a little favour by staying Indoors”.
Rohit Sharma like other cricketers and athletes is staying at home and spending good time with his family amid the ongoing lockdown due to Coronavirus. Earlier he has also interacted with other Indian team players and is keeping himself connected to his fans through the social media platform.
According to the data compiled by the Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra has recorded 1761 COVID-19 positive cases with 208 patients being cured so far. Out of the total cases, 127 have lost their lives. The total of COVID-19 positive cases in India has increased to 8356 on Sunday. Of these, 716 have been cured and discharged and 273 has died due to the deadly virus.
