Their batting & bowling units both performed in unison to help Sri Lanka register a glemaing win. Batting first Sri Lanka Legends posted 213 runs in 20 overs. Tillakaratne Dilshan (51 off 30), Mahela Udawatte (48), Jayasuriya (37), and Chamara Silva (34*) all turned up with crucial runs in their previous fixture. Tillakaratne Dilshan has been the most successful and highest run-scorer for the team. Heaidng into the semi-finals all their key batters would aim to continue their good run with the bat.

Their bowling unit too performed well as they restricted Bangladesh Legends to 143 runs in the chase of 214 runs. Tillakaratne Dilshan starred with the ball too by returning with figures of 3-23. Asela Gunaratne (2), Sanath Jayasuriya(1), and Dhammika Prasad (1) too contributed with the ball in hand. Heading into the Semifinals Sri Lanka Legends would aim for nothing less than a victory.

West Indies Legends

West Indies Legends are marching into this clash on the back of a defeat over Australia Legends in the previous clash. Batting first they posted a decent 178 runs total on board. Dwayne Smith was the torch bearer of their win after smashing 65 runs off 33 balls. Captain Edwards (46) too contributed with the willow.

On contrary, the West Indies Legends bowling department failed miserably to defend the total of 179 runs. Australia was successful in chasing the total in just 15.1 overs. With the ball too, Smith was the standout performer by scalping 1-21. However, the rest of their bowlers leaked massive runs & even failed to return with crucial wickets. Marching into the Semi-finals West Indies Legends would aim to learn from their mistakes & make their dream of reaching the Finals a reality.
