Virat Kohli Express Gratitude for the “Friendship & Belief” he received From Dhoni!

By expressing gratitude for the “Friendship & belief” he got from the former charismatic captain Kohli said, “You will always be my captain”.

In a one minute long video posted on BCCI’s Twitter handle Kohli said that Dhoni’s retirement is that rare moment in his life when he doesn’t have enough words to express his thoughts & emotions. “Words fall short a lot of times in life and I think this is one of those moments. All I can say is that you will always be that guy who sat in the last seat of the bus,” Kohli said.

Dhoni & Kohli shared a special comfortable bond even after Kohli took over captaincy from Dhoni & both has always spoke good things for each other. Further praising Former India Captain Virat said, “We have shared a great camaraderie, friendship, understanding because we have always played for the same roles, same goals, which was to make the team win.”

“It’s been a pleasure playing under you, alongside you. You showed belief in me, which I would always be grateful for.

“I have said it before, I will say it again, you will always be my captain,” he signed off.

Team India Head Coach Ravi Shastri has also posted a special video message for the wicket-keeper batsman who has also honorary rank of a Lt. Colonel in the Territorial Army.

MS Dhoni has out an end to his cricketing journey after announcing his retirement on Saturday. However the 39 year old will continue to lead CSK in the IPL series & we will get a chance to notice his spectacular game play in the upcoming IPL season.
