Virat Kohli returned back to India on Saturday & was spotted at the Mumbai International Airport. Leaving back the disappointment of getting knocked out in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinals, Kohli made his fans happy by stopping & taking photographs with them at the airport.

Virat Kohli expressed his sadness over failing to march in the Finals
Kohli expressed his disappointment after the Indian team failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup final. The Indian team suffered an alarming 10-wicket team defeat at the hands of England in the semifinals which ended their campaign in T20 World Cup 2022. However former India Captain emphasized the fact that the tournament gave the entire team some beautiful memories & the ‘Men in Blue’ will learn from their mistakes & will bounce back stronger in the next t20 World Cup in 2024.
Sharing his thought on Twitter, Kohli wrote, “We leave Australian shores short of achieving our dream and with disappointment in our hearts but we can take back a lot of memorable moments as a group and aim to get better from here on.”
He further thanked his fans who flooded the stadiums in large numbers to support the team & said that it’s always an honor & delight for him to don the Indian Jersey & represent his motherland.

Virat Kohli displayed great character in the T20 World Cup 2022 by amassing 296 runs at an average of 98.66. He tops the list of highest run-scorer in the tournament with four fifties in his kitty. His best score came against Pakistan when he smashed an unbeaten 82 in Melbourne. However, Virat Kohli along with Rohit Sharma & KL Rahul has been rested for their upcoming New Zealand tour beginning on November 18.
