James Anderson & Stuart Broad have always shown their world class bowling & continues to rule the pitch since years. England’s Captain Joe Root is all praise for these two legendary bowlers & says that other teammates should feel lucky to be able to share their dressing rooms with Anderson & Stuart Broad. He further praised the duo by saying that there is no better way to learn cricket than watching the tips & tricks of these pacers.
Stuart Broad successful achieved that much desirable 500th test Wickets mark along with Anderson which is a milestone that is achieved only by six other bowlers in the cricket history. The duo has been leading England’s bowling attack for years & are considered one of the most successful fast bowler pairs in the World Cricket.
England’s Test Cricket Captain Joe Roots said, “We’re looking at two of England’s best bowlers of all time. To be playing in the same team as both of them – we’ve got to understand how lucky we are to be watching them go about their business”.
“Playing alongside them, seeing them operate day in, day out – it couldn’t be a better place for a young fast bowler to come in and learn their trade.” Earlier, Joe Root had urged naysayers to write off Anderson and broad individually at their own peril even though he dropped hints that their days as a pair may be over.
“It’s a real privilege to play alongside both Jimmy and Stuart and hopefully that’s going to happen for a lot longer as well,” Root added.
Stuart was omitted from the First Test Match of the three match Test Series in Southampton but he proved his critics & trollers wrong by showing scintillating performances in the remaining two Test Matches which helped his side to win the series against West Indies.
In the series Decider Third Test Match Broad by achieving his career’s much awaited 500th Test Wickets mark by claiming 10 wickets in the match with figures coming to 10-67. He was also the performer of the series along with West Indies Roston Chase.
“For him to come back into the team and have such an impact is testament to how good a player he’s been for England over such a long period of time,” Root said.
“It sums Stuart up, he seems to get on those hot streaks and have a real impact in games and I’m really pleased for him to get to that milestone – 500 Test wickets is a phenomenal achievement”. He’s the sort of guy that really grabs a game and wrestles it in your favor”, Root added.
